Braden's first day of school

Why parenting is awesome

Katie and the kids just went to Reeds Dairy to pick up some milk and a some kiddie ice cream cones. Bella and Braden both chose their flavors and sat down to eat the ice cream with Katie. Bella didn't end up liking her flavor choice so she wanted a different one. Katie had to explain that another one costs money and let Bella sit there to think about that for a few moments to teach her the value of choices and purchases. Then Braden pulled out all the money he had from his pocket, which was maybe 13 cents and gave it to Katie to help pay for Bella to have a new ice cream. And that is why parenting is awesome.
